Nadal prevailed in five sets, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, setting up a quarterfinal showdown with longtime adversary Djokovic.
“A tough test and perhaps the biggest one that you can have here in Roland Garros,” Novak Djokovic said about the match following his fourth-round win.
The quarterfinal match between Djokovic and Nadal at the 2022 French Open will be played on Court Philip Chatrier at the Stade Roland Garros.
